BREAKING: BOKO HARAM: JTF kills seven in Maiduguri

Seven suspected members of the Boko Haram sect were killed on Friday by the Joint task force (JTF) in Maiduguri, Borno state in a shootout along Gwange junction.
A statement from the spokesperson of the JTF, Sagir Musa, said the security officials were conducting a cordon and search operation at Gwange junction when the hoodlums started shooting at them. The task force said they had no option than to respond with fire.
Mr. Musa said seven members of the sect were killed, while thirteen others were arrested. He added that the task force did not suffer any casualty.
