Kidnappers free Super Eagles midfielder’s wife

Memunat, wife of Super Eagles midfielder, Fegor Ogude, who was kidnapped on Monday, has been freed by her abductors.This was revealed by the Media Officer of the National Under-23 Team, Timi Ebikagboro, on Sunday.Writing on his Twitter handle late on Sunday, Ebikagboro said: “To God be the glory, the wife of SE player Fegor Ogude, Memunat has been released, she was released minutes ago, and isnow with her family.”Memunat was kidnapped in Warri,Delta State on Monday night by gunmen who stormed her residence.Ogude, a member of the Super Eagles team that won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, plies his trade in Russia with FK Amker Perm.
